Fernwood Cemetery - Lockbourne, Ohio
Ferwood Cemetery is the more modern cemetery that services the community of Lockbourne, Ohio. Established in 1875 on Rowe Road about half a mile from US 23,
you'd expect to see quite a few old graves here. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Although there are a few very cool stones, most of them are your run-of-the-mill
modern grave markers. Backing up against St. Joseph's, this comparatively young cemetery has plenty of room to grow.
To get to Fernwood, take US 23 south to Rowe Road, make a left and follow Rowe for about half a mile. The entrance to the cemetery is on the left,
and goes up a hill. It is very easy to spot. You can also take Lockbourne Road south to the end, making a right turn to go through the town. Keep following
Commerce Street until it turns into Rowe Road. Not too far out of the town you'll find Fernwood on the right-hand side.
