Participation in chamber ensembles is a major component of euphonium-tuba study here at Ohio University. Ensembles include the Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble (required of all majors), 2 Euphonium/Tuba Quartets (2 euphoniums & 2 tubas), and Brass Quintets (required of all performance majors).

Rehearsals and performances for each ensemble vary. Currently, the Euphonium/Tuba Ensemble rehearses once weekly, Thursdays from 6-8 pm. Smaller groups are TBA with two rehearsals weekly, one of which is a coaching session with Dr. Smith. Below is a brief repertoire listing for selected chamber groups for Winter Quartet 2006. For additional information, please refer to the course syllabus.
