may 13:
the  salzburg study abroad program celebrates its 40th anniversary in salzburg! the party was held at the gasthof wilder mann and there were roughly 50 guests attending, among them former participants and instructors, provost kathy krendl, barry and jean thomas, sigrid stadler, representatives of the university of salzburg, and of course the director and participants of the 2008 program. here are some images from the party.  follow this link for a POST article on the celebration:http://www.thepost.ohiou.edu/Articles/News/2008/05/13/24484/    here are some images from the party.



spring 08: 
may:
at the annual "taste of study abroad" fair (sponsored by education abroad) the salzburg program set up a live web chat so that interested students could speak with students presently participating on the program in salzburg.

spring 07: ohio university german students are winners again.  this year we are pleased to note that 4 of our students (all of them former/current participants in the salzburg program)  have received nationally competitive awards.

08.03.07: the first salzburg scholarship is awarded to diana hujeij. and seth trammel  congrats!!  this scholarship was funded by a generous donation and by a candy sale by students in the german club and in delta phi alpha.  thanks to all who helped sell the candy - and to those who enjoyed it!
