Since this is an OU program, all financial aid and most scholarships that you receive will apply to the tuition costs of the program.

** Your "Tuition and General Fees" costs will be the same as you normally are charged for 16 credit hours in Athens.  Different fees may apply for some students in the "Tuition and General Fees" category.  Visit the tuition and fees website for more information:   http://www.ohio.edu/finance/bursar/athenstuition.cfm

++This is a conservative estimate of the airline costs, which are constantly in flux.  Most students are able to find much more inexpensive airfare.

FINANCIAL AID:

Financial Aid-Scholarships for Study Abroad: All Ohio University financial aid (except work-study) applies to the cost of our study abroad programs.

Study abroad scholarships based on need and achievement are also available as well as other scholarships across campus. Even if you are not receiving financial aid on campus, you may be eligible for these special scholarships.

It is highly recommended that you consider applying for some of the numerous scholarships available through the Office of Education Abroad.  Their website contains a detailed list of these scholarships.   You may apply for some scholarships while you are applying for admission (that is, before you have been accepted to the program).  Contact the Office of Education Abroad for deadline information for spring quarter scholarships.  Applications and information are available from the Office of Education Abroad , Gordy Hall 107 (593-4583). Students should apply as soon as possible, even if only considering application to the Salzburg Program.
