Do you want to earn college credit from one of the most prestigious universities
in the State of Ohio?
Are you an existing Ohio University student and need or want to complete at
least 4 credits of a Tier II class over the summer?
Do you like completing assignments at 1:00 am?
Do you want the flexibility of ‘attending’ your class 24/7, day
or night, anytime you want, and don’t want to sit in a classroom during
the summertime?
Do you have a summer vacation planned, or need to be someplace for a couple
weeks, and that is stopping you from taking an Ohio University classroom based
course over the summer?
Are you located at a regional campus but want to take credits from the Athens
campus?
If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, you are a candidate for taking an all web based college course. EH260, Introduction to Environmental Health, is one such course offered at Ohio University, located in Athens, Ohio, USA. WWW-EH260 is being offered entirely via the web during Summer Session ONLY! (The course is offered each Fall Session in the traditional classroom meeting format.) All assignments will be via individual readings, BlackBoard, and email/email attachments. The format is specifically being geared to students with busy schedules who cannot otherwise attend classes this summer.
Summer students interested in this class will need to register and pay all fees by official university deadlines to guarantee a spot in the class. If you are interested, you’re advised to go ahead and sign up for the class now (you can always cancel at a later date, prior to the drop/add refund dates—see the official OU website for dates).
If you are interested in taking a course in which there are no class meetings (e.g., your presence in Athens is not required) this course might be an option for you. To find out more, check out the online syllabus posted on this website. If you still have questions, feel free to call or email me directly.
