As a freelance designer each month I am responsible for producing a safety
advertisement for the months of July through February. I collaborated
with the senior designer to research and come up with a concept for a
50th Anniversary Advertisement, for the city of Paducah, Kentucky. I was
able to take over the project and produce the full-page newspaper ad on
my own. I also designed a two-year calendar, illustrating children’s
artwork from Portsmouth, Ohio. Some of the other jobs include: Redesigning
a logo for an ongoing project, Megatons to Megawatts, and editing photographs
for the Who’s Who Directory.

Identity Design, November 2002
I produced this identity system for a children’s aerobics program.
The design includes a logo, business cards, letterhead, and t-shirt.

Creative Services, June 2000 to September 2000
As a summer intern I was in charge of getting some jobs ready for the
printer. I helped edit videos, which were going to be seen at a trade
show, and designed an invitation for a golf outing.

I had this job all throughout high school and was responsible for supervising
as much as twenty children at a time.

I have been an active member since April 2001. For the year of 2002, I
was social chair of the chapter and planned activities for everyone to
meet outside of the meetings and class. In 2003, I was appointed president
of our chapter. I held the responsibility of holding meetings, organizing
trips to visit different designers, setting up a portfolio review trip
to Cleveland, and providing an art show once a year.
