Illustration gallery

The images below are illustrations that represent the kind of work that I currently am involved in.  Most of the illustrations are drawings that I have produced under contract for figures in scientific papers.  Of course, a few of them exist for no purpose other than as practice and for learning new techniques, thus displaying them here adds to their utility.  Included with each illustration is a description with both the common and scientific name for the animal illustrated, the medium in which it was rendered, and where it was published.

I am very much a proponent of giving credit to those who deserve it.  Therefore,
however much I have learned from the production of the illustrations shown, I think it is important to point out that the research illustrated is not my own.  I have enjoyed rendering these illustrations, and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have worked on these projects.
