Current Research: I am currently researching reproductive ecology of oaks in the hardwood forests of unglaciated southeastern Ohio. I use dendroecology to evaluate resource allocation and determine if a masting signal can be found in tree rings. I hope to shed some light on resource allocation theory and help forest managers with the failure of oak regeneration in the eastern United States.
