West Virginia DX Association, April 2008, at the Museum


On Monday night April 21, 2008 the West Virginia DX Association had their meeting at the Museum of Radio & Technology. Guest of honor was retiring Israel Amateur Radio Club (IARC) President Joseph Obstfeld, 4X6KJ and his wife Ruth 4X4CM.

The GovernorŐs office sent a certificate making Joseph 4X6KJ an honorary Mountaineer. This was presented by Hal Turley, W8HC.

This cake that was enjoyed at the reception.

Garry Ritchie did a presentation on the distress signal that was sent from the Titanic and also demonstrated the Museum's spark gap transmitter.
