Syllabus Announcements Laboratory CAPA
This course is the third in the three-course sequence of introductory physics taught with the presumption that the student has had high school level algebra and trigonometry, but without the presumption that the student knows calculus. The topics include:
- electromagnetic waves
- reflection and refraction of light
- optics of mirrors and lenses
- optics of waves
- relativity
- quantum physics
- atomic physics
- nuclear physics
- nuclear energy and elementary particles
The course does not presume that you have already encountered these concepts.

- The syllabus includes information such as the timetable of readings, and examinations.
- Schedule changes, links to on-line resources, etc.
- Experiment schedule, expectations, etc.
- On-line problem assignments.
