The female models all appear small and thin.  While browsing through the clothing on this website, I found that none of the women’s shirts go larger than a size large.  Many of the shorts found on the site only go up to a size ten while almost all of these same shorts offer the size double zero.  I believe there may be more size ten and up college-age women than there are size double zero, which I found strange since most women and men tend to gain weight during their college years.  The sizing on the Abercrombie website enforces the image of stick thin women, like the models shown in the photographs.  The fact that this was one of the first things I looked at when viewing this website also shows that many times women are more concerned with comparing our own bodies to the bodies of models. We also desire to look this way because it is the way magazines and clothing stores suggest we should.
