The Abercrombie & Fitch website pictures men and women, all of which are very young looking.  I found that all of the Abercrombie models in the new summer cast are between the ages of 18 and 25, however, none of them look much older than 20.  While the target demographic of Abercrombie’s advertising is college-age men and women, these models, especially the women, portray the younger end of that spectrum.  The model in this photo is 20 years old.  Her youth is accentuated by using very minimal, natural makeup and keeping her eyebrows full, making her look even more youthful. By using very young looking models, one could gather that Abercrombie values the look of youth.  It is something that our culture cherishes as well. There is so much emphasis on looking young, many are afraid to grow old.  Abercrombie reinforces this notion by using very youthful models on their website.
