Our first stop is Pais,
city of lights, city of Love!
This is our crew in front
of the Eiffel Tower
And the Eiffel Tower in it's singular glory.
Our next stop is the Arc
de Triomphe located at the end of the two mile Champs Elysées, which
a small group of us decided to walk one evening.
No trip to Paris would
be complete without a trip to the beautiful cathedrals located within its
walls.
Above is the beautiful
Sacre Coeur nestled on a hill over looking the village of Monmarte
and below is the world
famous Notre Dame as seen from the Siene river.
Le Moulin Rouge, we were
not aware that our hotel was only a few blocks from here.
This picture was taken
from our tour bus window upon leaving the city.
The Louvre

From left to right; the Venus De Milo, Three Graces, and Winged Victory
Of Course we couldn't visit
the Louvre without stopping by to see the
Mona Lisa
Next we will travel into the breath-taking countryside.
Above and below you can see waterlilies from Monet's garden
The beach at Normandy
The American Cemetary at
Normandy, to the left is a monument at the gate, to the right is only a
tiny section of the acres of American dead.
In the distance is Mont
St. Michel which becomes an island during the high tide.
In the fore ground you
can see sheep grazing in the salt marsh during the low tide,
these sheep yeild the most
delicious mutton.
And finally, the grand palace
of Versailles.
This photo journey does
no justice to the true beauty of Paris and the French counrtyside,
but I hope it has instilled
in you a desire to visit this great country,
such is the passion that
has been burning within me since I first stepped foot on her soil.
I can not waite to return!!!
