Research Interests

Decreasing barriers to participation in society for individuals using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) through a three pronged approach:

• Reducing the learning demands of AAC technologies
• Offering empowerment tools such as problem solving skills
• Changing attitudes and behaviors of others toward individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
