Formed in September of 1996, the mighty MK decided to forge a new path in the Athens, Ohio music world. Dipping heavily into indie rock, punk rock, and emo, the four piece tried to show people that there really was an alternative to gutter rock and top forty in this town. Whether they succeeded or not is still a mystery…

The Band
Vito Cimino
- Our beloved bass player is originally from North Royalton, OH. He's an engineering major at Ohio University - him real smart. He's also one heck of bass player with way too much equipment.Daniel Michalec
- Dan plays the drums. He also makes maps. I don't think that the two are related. Dan hits the drums real hard. I like that. He's also good at the other stuff, but I like it when he hits the drums real hard. He's from Columbus, OH.Rebecca Rine
- Shouldering the duties of vocals and guitar, Becky is originally from Medina, Ohio, and is currently a Telecommunications major at OU. Her favorite color is powder blue, which just so happens to be the color she painted her guitar. She has a wonderful singing voice, which can be heard both in Middle Kittanning and in the OU Choral Ensemble, when she chooses to sing with them.Kyle Vanderneut - The other guitarist who sometimes does some singing, Kyle tries to write creatively at OU. He's the jerk who convinced the other to be in a band with him and the one responsible for this we page. He's from Kent, Ohio, which might explain some things. He's also the bum who is attempting to run this whole record thing.
