You're Hired!
We have been searching for a group of four great reporters like you. Your first assignment is to find out the names of each president whose career was cut short by an assassin. Check the following web sites to find the names you are looking for. Remember to evaluate your sources for reliability. Then come back and we will fill you in on the rest of your duties. You're back! Next, each person on your team needs to choose one of the presidents to concentrate on. Then, you will check the web sites above to find out everything you can about the life and death of your president. You will be creating a newspaper article using this information. Don't forget to include pictures. Write the story as if you were reporting it right after the assassination occurred. Remember that there are other reporters on the story. It is your job to get the most information, presented in the best way. Finally, you will share your findings with the public (or school).
