Which Weight Loss Choice is the right one for you?

Anyone who has a weight problem will confess that fast weight loss is the preferred method. Most people want to be the perfect size-however they personally define perfection-yesterday, not today, but yesterday. Generally, the people who say they prefer being a plus size are lying to themselves. How dare I say such a thing! I can speak from personal experience, as I lost 300 pounds of fat myself.

I can also attest to the fact that fast weight loss would be preferable. Why? Excess weight is hard on a person’s heart. The circulatory system has to work much harder. Edema and high blood pressure are also health problems associated with being overweight. Did I forget to mention the increased chances of having a stroke or heart attack? Who would not want to get rid of dangerous health consequences of excess pounds overnight?

Unfortunately, no feasible method exists to incur fast weight loss, unless a person is extremely ill. Sure. I suppose you can take a diuretic, use colon cleansing products, quit eating for a day or two, go on a liquid diet, followed by excessive amounts of exercise to build muscle.

Using a diuretic, you will literally flush all of the excess fluids from your body. However, you will also be sending much needed potassium down the drain, so taking the appropriate supplements is necessary. Also, you will have to be extremely careful not to become dehydrated, especially in the summer, or you will simply be trading one problem for another.

Fasting is a great method of fast weight loss. Actually, the first day of a weight loss program, fasting may be a realistic idea, giving the stomach a chance to shrink down a little. But, what happens when your metabolism slows down to compensate for the sudden physiological changes, or you return to former eating and fitness habits? Yes, the weight comes right back on, and many people even add a few extra pounds once they start eating again.

You might choose to use an appetite suppressant like Hoodia for Weight Loss, but before you do, make sure you know about the side effects of hoodia. Another Diet Pill you might decide to choose is Phentermine.

So, is easy weight loss is the right choice? Personally, I have found no easy way to lose weight. Although, cutting out sugared sodas, a ritual snack, or increasing physical fitness to burn calories, easy weight loss still requires the person to make changes and personal sacrifices. Sadly, there is no magic pill that will result in easy weight loss. You still need to exercise, eat right, and resist the temptation to fall back into old habits.

Therefore, permanent weight loss is the best option. Realistically, no one can guarantee a person will never regain a pound, but this method is definitely the right choice. Why? Once a person is dedicated to losing excess weight forever, he/she is willing to do whatever it takes to become healthy.

Recognizing the necessity to make life changes, losing weight is not a temporary diet; it becomes a way of life. How? Making healthy dietary selections, exercising to promote fitness and good health, and paying attention to how you treat your body will and the weight will naturally reduce to a reasonable level.

No, it will not happen instantly. But, think about it. If a person needs to lose 50 pounds, he/she did not wake up one morning overweight. The process likely took years, unless the person has a major medical problem. So, why should people expect to experience fast weight loss, or easy weight loss?

In summary, you can decide to try various fad methods of fast weight loss, or you can try to take the easy route and constantly struggle with shedding half a pound. However, the hands down best solution to weight loss is a permanent plan to change your lifestyle, eat right, exercise, and make healthy choices.
