Awards/Reviews
For some reason or another, some people have liked some of the things that I've done here and given me some awards for them. ... And recently, I discovered I've been reviewed!! Ok, so perhaps the only thing that people have liked is the Spork page. But regardless, here they are:
This was the first award I received (1995ish), and I was truely honored. For those of you who didn't have the opportunity to witness the glory that was Mirsky, YA MISSED OUT. This single dude combed the internet looking for things to make fun of. He wrote a rather primative web page that was BEYOND hysterical. And just think! The guy chose ME! ME! Of all people, Mr. Mirsky chose my web page as ... well, ok, one of three pages he showcased on sporks that day. Still...for a Junior in high school, this is quite a thrill.

This one also got me pretty pumped. It'd been two years(!) since my last recognition, and my page had just gone through a major facelift (frames, black background, etc). Besides! GEEK OF THE WEEK! What an honor! Anyone who has ever known me well has known how true this is! I think my friend Chris Kreitel said it best: "IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!".

This is the first review of my web site I've found! I just stumbled upon it one day when I was checking to see if my site was listed on a search engine! Zoe O'Reilly took some liberties in the write-up (I never said/wrote any of those quotes<g>), but hey! A review's a review!! Now someday, someone's going to review my real website...

I wasn't quite sure how I felt about being inducted into the Cat Fart Mausoleum (God, that's hard to spell) until I visited the web page. That was enough for me. The caption next to my page was: "Half spoon, half fork, all miracle." Truer words have rarely been spoken!
Thanks again to all who have granted me awards, and to all who like what I do here. I'm not sure *WHY* you like it, but I'm glad you do!
