Rage Against the Machine: a Luddite memorial...is knit telephone wire. The luddite's
were weavers in the late nineteenth century that smashed and burned the industrial
power looms that had displaced them. This work is a reminder that objects made
by human hands have the love, skill and experience of another human-being woven
into them, where mass produced objects are cut from the same mold.
