Student Group Advising

As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, I have the great pleasure and opportunity to advise student groups and organizations.  This year, I have been advising the following three student organizations:

Alpha Lambda Delta  is Ohio University’s first-year honorary.  Alpha Lambda Delta's purpose is "...to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist women and men in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society."

The No-Frills Bid and Conference Team.  CAACURH, or the Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls, is a student run regional association that hosts two conferences a year.  This talented group of students successfully wrote a bid and received the honor of hosting the February 2007, “No-Frills” regional conference.

The Ally Group.  This student organization is small in numbers, but mighty in scope and mission.  It strives to provide support to the LGBT community and encourages Ally membership.  Would you like a Gay, Fine by Me? T-shirt?  Just let me know!!!
