This the photo of the general store and post office appearing on page 76 of Florin's book (1971).

Here's a photo of the same structure from a slightly different angle.  This one appears on page 34 of Paher's 1993 book.  It's appearance is very similar to what Florin saw in 1971, and I would guess that the photo is from considerably prior to 1993.

This is the only "building" of any type we could find standing in Rochester in November 2001.  We think it is the same building, but we can't be sure.  It looked like one more good windstorm would finish it off.
