Kelly is in Socorro County about 2.5 miles south of Magdalena off of U.S.
60. Turn south at the ranger station in Magdalena. Go 1.9 miles to a
fork, and bear left. What's left of the town is 1.4 miles from the fork.
Kelly was the home of a mine which has since been abandoned. Not much is
left except for the mine itself, which apparently allows visits (if you have a
pass--no mention about where to get the pass--probably at the ranger station), a
church, which is being maintained, and some foundations and walls.
