C.A.R.E. Partnership
▪ Gained nearly 1000
in-classroom hours
I observed at Coolville Elementary, Federal
Hocking Middle School, and Federal
Hocking High School
▪ Involved in the learning
expedition on, "What should we do about violence?"
at Amesville Elementary with fourth and fifth graders
Everyone involved in the expedition concluded the
project with a video-taped
newscast presented to the community and other
classes and Amesville Elementary.
We also discussed our expedition at the 2002 IDE
Conference at Ohio University.
▪ Assisted creating a video on
promoting awareness on lesbians, gays, bisexuals
and transvestites
The idea of creating this video was sparked when
a local teacher wanted to
show her students that using the word "gay" is
offensive and should not be
used as slang. The video is to be used as a
resource for teachers, preservice
teachers, students, and anyone else to educate
others on the issues that
lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transvestites
encounter.
Computer Education and
Technology Master's Program
▪
List of software programs I am proficient using:
Adobe InDesign 2.0
Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Adobe ImageReady 7.0
Macromedia Flash MX
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
Microsoft FrontPage 2002

▪ Observing a Tech Prep classroom for my internship
My goal after the internship
is to be able to develop a technology course from
what I have learned in my classes. The most
intriguing point I noticed was that
students are more creative, motivated, and
interested in their projects when
given more freedom to explore their capabilities.
▪ Presenting my Master's Portfolio
I created a visual portfolio depicting my
development throughout the program
encompassing all my graduate work while relating
it to the NETS*T standards.
