Welcome to Roseville!

Roseville lies in a beautiful, picturesque valley surrounded by massive, towering hills rich with mineral wealth. The vast deposits of potters clay and coal lying in these hills made Roseville a pottery town. Roseville lies on the edge of Muskingum and Perry Counties. The village was platted in 1812 by John Rose, and was first known as New Milford, later to be named after Ezekiel Rose.
