May 1972  became a Charter member of the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway,  initially selling concessions, later trackwork.

   Graduated  Nelsonville-York  High School  1975

   Fall  1976  was  "reBorn"  as a Christian while attending  HTC

   Graduated  Hocking Technical College 1977 - Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering

   Sept. 1977  hired by GTE's  Outside Plant Engineering Dept. as a draftsman
        also  worked  in their Supply dept.  and  Service  Dept.  as an  Facilities Technician  ( Installer / Cable Splicer )

   Late 1982  received a  commission as a  Special Deputy of Athens County  Sheriff's  Dept. ( ie. Reserves )

   Spring 1983  Graduated  O.P.O.T.C.   police basic training at  top of the class out of  21 officers

   Jan 1985  joined  Athens City Police as an Auxiliary  ( ie. Reserves )

   Jan. 1991  left  GTE  (today called Verizon) on a  buy-out

   Jan. 1991  began taking classes at Ohio University

   May  1993  graduated  O.U.  with  a  Bachelors  Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering  ( Manufacturing Production)

   Dec. 1994  Hired  full-time by  O.U.'s  Communication Network Services Dept. (  Data & Phone Dept. )

   Nov. 1996  left  law enforcement  reserves

   Aug. 1997  finally got around to starting a web page

   about 2000 appointed as a deacon at the Athens Bible Church

   Feb. 2004 elected to the board of the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway (museum).
