it onto a Westbound "cut" of hoppers. Next

headend power
begins assembling their train "doubled over"
on 3 yard tracks.

The N&W owned few
low nose units.
This one was new to the N&W . It was retired
and
scrapped
in 1979 .
* we were told that this "Big
Hook" was the pride of the yard. By its
shinny
appearance that seemed to be the case.
