CSX  Scraps the Tracks  -  East side of Athens City
.
This page will show the tracks East of the old  B&O  station, including the main campus
of  Ohio University.   The tightest curve on the Division was beside OU's  Morton Hall.

Looking  East across Race street as the sled pauses for the crossing.  These road
crossings were no problem for the sled as it simply slid across the top surface.

As the train's rear passes the Pepsi Plant,  we get a good look at how the
rail is slid upon the train while additional rail is ripped from the ties.
