I serve on the 18-member governing body (Session) of the local church, focusing on areas of worship and education. My interests include exploring alternative forms of worship, involving children in worship, scheduling worship leaders, and identifying staffing needs.
Bio
- I was born
and raised in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia, where the confluence of the
the New and Gauley Rivers form the Kanawha River. For those
who enjoy whitewater rafting, hiking, backpacking, and skiing, this part
of the state (the New River Gorge) is a must see.
- My husband,
Steve, and I have been married since 1995 and have lived in Athens the
last three years. We love dining out, traveling, and watching
explosive movies.
