In 2004, I returned to German Village twice to take more pictures of Schiller Park,
although my main purpose was to capture the homes surrounding the park without
the leaves, but I went again during the summer (note the green).
I changed this page adding a few more park images, but also included some general
pictures in and around German Village. Schiller Park is a 23 acre park located next to my old elementary school Stewart Ave School. Schiller Park sits in the middle of German Village now, but when I was young, the south end was just a normal neighborhood. The park had a big influence on me while I was growing up providing arts and crafts, dances and even magic shows by Flippo The Clown. Later in life it was a privilege to work with him at WBNS-TV.
