Sonic looked into the vast emptiness. "But...it's just white. That's kinda..dull."
"But readable," Starcloud replied. "It must be readable."
"You could...make it light blue."
"Too obvious."
"Checkerboard?"
"Ditto."
Sonic shrugged. "You could at least have some rings spinning around here."
"There's a ring in the corner there," Starcloud said, pointing.
"It doesn't spin."
"No, but it has Chaos Emeralds attached to it. That's Original."
"Those are Chaos Emeralds?" Sonic squinted.
"They're supposed to be."
Sonic politely changed the subject. "You should probably tell people what this site has in it. I'm sure some of them are getting bored now."
"Oh...um...my Sonic art...I draw Sonic, Tails, Kuckles, Mecha Sonic, Nack, and all sorts of canon Sonic characters from pretty much every official Sonic continuity in existence."
"But not quite every continuity," Sonic pointed out.
"I assure you, I'm working on that."
"I should hope so."
"It's just, there are at least five different cartoon series, two major comic series, and of course, the games. That's eight continuities right there."
"Nine if you count the fact that the game continuities aren't exactly....continuous. I mean, I have these cool green eyes now. Green, like...emeralds! Is that cool or what?"
"Uh...yes?"
Sonic blinked. And abruptly changed the subject. "Your email is starcloud@artlover.com, isn't it?"
"Well, yeah."
"And you like people to email you."
"Well, yeah...unless they send email that is composed of a flammable substance which bursts into flame when it senses one reading it."
"Like napalm?"
"Uhh..."
"Oh, it was a metaphor for flames."
Both of the furry creatures were silent for a moment.
"I also don't much care for emails composed of cheap meat substance which exist solely to promote odd and disturbing items which you couldn't pay me to buy."
"Yeah. I noticed you get a lot of those."
"Yes. That's what the delete button is for."
Sonic nodded sagely.
