The virtual museum exhibition project
This is a virtual museum exhibition on
Mondrian. First, you will be put in a group of
three. Next, you will play the role of either a
curator, a researcher, or a designer in an art
museum. The director of the museum has
requested three of you to put up a web-based
virtual show on Mondrian's works using the
navigator composer. Your group should
decide a theme for the exhibition. The curator
will decide which Mondrian's works to be
included in the show. It is the designer's job to
search for images of the selected works
online, or to scan images from Mondrian
catalogues if there are works that the curator
want in the show but are not available online.
The designer will work with curator for the
general outlook of the virtual gallery. The job
of the researcher is to search online for
information and materials related to Mondrian
and and his works. If information of a specific
work is not available online, it is the
researcher's job to provide the necessary
information from other sources, such as books
or journals.
