Below are three links whereby you can learn to create your own painting online in Mondrian's "neo-plastic" style.  Some restrictions may apply in using this preset model.  Try to challenge yourself by creating a few compositions within such restriction.  Remember, by doing that you are learning the spirit of Mondrian, who has restricted himself to just a few eleeents -- horizontal lines, vertical lines, and the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue).  Have fun and be creative!

Drag the frame dividers to resize blocks and click in an area where you wanted it colored.  By clicking the mouse, you will be able to get the color you intended for a specific area.

"Mondrimat" is designed and developed by Stephen Linhart.  It is a great program to have fun in simulating Mondrian.  Stephen Linhart has provided guidelines as follow:

Click on the right 1/3 of a color block to split it across.
Click on the lower 1/3 of a block to split it up & down.
Click anywhere else in a block to change its color.
Drag the frame dividers to resize blocks.
