| A homeless person sleeps through the free bag lunch distribution by the Homeless Feeding The Homeless organization at the Listening House in St. Paul, Minn., on Friday, February 4, 2006. The Listening House is a drop-in center for the homeless during the day, between the hours that shelters are open. More than half of the homeless in St. Paul actually have jobs, but make wages that do not allow them to maintain a home. Many of these jobs are in the evening, so it is imperative that there is a place for the homeless to sleep, eat and cleanup during the day. |
