I am a Junior at Ohio University majoring in Graphic Design. I will be graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in June 2004. I have been around art my whole life, and I have worked to become a Graphic Designer for as long as I can remember. Graphic Design is the perfect job for me, because it allows me to exercise my artistic creativity, while providing heavy structure and critical thinking to base it in.

Currently, I am searching for an Internship starting in the summer.  I would prefer a location that will allow me to commute from Massillon, however, I am willing to travel anywhere.   An Internship I am looking for will allow me to not only gain the knowledge necessary to be competitive in the design field, but to contribute my creative abilities to your company. I enclose my resume as a first step in exploring the possibilities of Interning with your company.

While this would be my first internship in Graphic Design, I previously worked as a freelance designer and computer technician. I work extremely hard and can focus on multiple tasks at once. I also have the ability to work quickly (but not hastily). I work well with others, and I am comfortable taking on a leadership role. I am a computer expert and I have mastered the design programs used in today’s Graphic Design field. I have a broad knowledge of Graphic Design history as well as the most cutting-edge designs of today.
