Hi! My name is Barbie Young and I am an Early
Childhood
Education major at Ohio
University
- Chillicothe. I decided to go into the early childhood field
when
my daughter was getting ready to start Kindergaten two years ago.
After
being home with her for six years, I knew I would need something to do
while she was at school. During the last two years I have been
attending
OUC part-time and volunteering at my daughter's school. I help at
the
school with things like HOSTS (Helping One
Student
to Succeed), things that go on in her classroom, and different things
that
the Parent Volunteer Group handles. I love it! I really
enjoy
getting to spend my time at her school, and being around the kids!

This is a site we are visiting oftern because we are in the middle of planning a trip to Disney World next year! My daughter got money for her birthday and decided to save it so she could buy something from Disney World. She says she may even hug Minnie Mouse, Rope Girl, or Daisy Duck!
