If this page looks OK, your browser is set to enable JavaScripts. If it looks like garbage, you should have a message at the top of this page requesting that you enable JavaScripts. Popups are used on some of the pages. To take full advantage of this site, you will need to make sure that popups are enabled.
The preferred browser for this site is Firefox. If you are using either Opera on a Mac or Linux, or IE, some things might not render properly. Firefox is free.
I do not use an HTML editor. Instead, I manually type in code with TextEdit on an eMac (OS X v. 10.3.9) or either Mousepad or gEdit on an IBM Thinkpad T-40 running Linux Mint 4.0. Each page is checked with the W3C validation service to make sure that the XHTML (strict) code is valid and that there are no problems with the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Images have been edited with GIMP. JavaScripts were provided free by The JavaScript Source and The JavaScript Kit.
The new design with shaded and rounded corners was implemented on February 1, 2008. You are welcome to contact me by email if you have comments about the page design or JavaScipts.
