Album
Cover / XXL:-
Eminem was on Hot97 Radio station with Funkmaster Flex and which he stated that
the cover for the album was taken in front of the home he grew up in. He knocked
on the door and when no one answered, they just did the photo shoot.
A picture of the album is in this month's Source (with Big Pun on the cover). He
also addressed XXL and how the drama went down: His publicist, when he first
came out and before "My Name Is" came out called XXL and wanted them
to do a story. Supposedly they said "We aren't doing any story ona white
rapper. Period." The when he started to blow up, XXL called for an
interview and EM said 'No." That's when the XXL story came out about him.
FLex asked if he was just beefing with the writer or the the whole mag and EM
felt that the whole magazine is responsible for that article because "they
published the article, so the magazine must have been behind it." Now he
states that XXL called him and asked for him to be on the cover! When FLex asked
him if he was going to do it, he said "They can have a cover of my big
white ass!" Then they went on to talk about the thong contest at Sisqo's
Album Release Party in Cancun, Mexico. Album is to be released May 23.

| Marshall Mathers LP |
Marshall Mathers LP:- It was a long process. It has been a grueling 6 months for the world's most shady m.c. But, the hard work has paid off. The man that hates everyone and that everyone loves has completed his new album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP'.
The stunning collection of lyrical nightmares features a whopping 16 tracks. The album was executive produced by none other than Dr. Dre. Dre also produced 7 of the tracks on the album, including the lead-off "The Real Slim Shady", which is sure to offend everyone. The rest of the album was produced by Eminem and F.B.T Productions, with one track from Eminem's deejay, D.J. Head, and one track from the legendary Mark the 45 King.
Collaborations on the album include RBX & Sticky Fingaz, a song featuring Eminem's hometown crew (and Shady Records signees) D-12, and an all-star line up of West Coast favorites for "Bitch Please 2".
The good news is that the first single will be out at the end of this month. The bad news is that you have to wait until May 30, 2000 to go out and steal the album.
*No mention of Canibus, is the song 'Battle Catz' ever gonna happen....?*
Thanks to [Eminem.com] that
piece of news.
