    • About the Lab
    In the laboratory we use molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology techniques to answer question about cytomegalovirus and its ability to cause disease. Methods used in the laboratory include cell and virus culture, DNA and RNA analysis, polymerase chain reaction, protein analysis, analysis of protein/DNA interactions, and microscopy. In addition to equipment located in the laboratory, Ohio University has a number of shared equipment facilities including confocal microscopy, an imagining facility, and a fluorimager.
