David Samuel Beard
David S. Beard was born on July 22, 1836 and died January 16, 1888.
He lived in Kansas as a Sheriff. Moved back to Virginia and
inherited 70+ acres of farm land from his father, John S. Beard.
He married Jennie Miller and they had the following children:
Charles Albert Beard (b.1875) (married a woman with the last name
"Hanger")
Walter Lee Beard (b. 1875) (married a woman with the last name "Baxter")
Laura Wilson Beard (b. 1877) (married a man with the last name
"Morning")
Arthur J. Beard (b. 1878) became a minister in Kansas.
Ella Beard who married J. R. Sears in Arizona.
Served in First Va. Cavalry, Captain Moomaw's Company.
