Description of Research and Subjects: If you have met someone online
and then met that person in real life with the intention of possibly forming
an intimate partnership, I am interested in your participation in a pilot
project. I would like to hear from both you and the other person(s), so
would need each of your permission's before mailing you the questions.
The questions are open-ended, covering such areas as how did you first
meet, how often did you communicate, and what were your expectations
before meeting in person. I also ask if you would be available for a brief
follow-up phone interview. Names are changed to pseudonyms, and
identifying info is removed.
