Designed two, three, and four-color covers and jackets for scholarly books, and established a cover design template for a book series.
Formatted text using style sheets, integrated illustrations, and prepared the files for printing.
Evaluated designs by freelancers and performed quality checks on every stage of design, composition, and manufacture of books.

The Longaberger Company- Graphic Design Intern, winter 2002
Collaborated with other designers to create Longaberger’s recruitment brochures, show invites, and postcards.
Designed newspaper advertisements for events at Longaberger’s golf club and hotel.

Fitch World Wide- Graphic Design Intern, June 2002 - August 2002
Worked closely with another designer in the creation of new icons and a template for client proposals.
Used a high-end Scitex Scanner to scan in images and extensively retouch.
