Everything you need to know about me, Adam Joly.

Since there are more people out there who don't know me than those who do, here's a bio so you can see where I'm coming from:

Bio:

Well, it all started way back in March of 1983. I'm one of 5 children (4 brothers and 1 sister). In the nearly 19 years of my life I've been to many places great and small, but my home will always be Centerville, OH. I was born there, grew up in its suburbs, and basically became the man I am today because of the people.
Growing up, as you could have probably guessed from the picture, I stood out from the crowd as being a little taller than average. I played basketball and just about everything else a tall kid could excel at. I also play a sport I love and have worked for years to perfect: Tennis. I enjoy every aspect of it and played for 4 years in high school. Up for a match? Let me know and we'll do battle.

I spent the past four years living it up as a student at Centerville High School. The best part about going there was the opportunity to improve on my musicianship. I played piano and clarinet in a cheesy middle school band, but never really enjoyed it (I'll be honest..we were horrible). At CHS I picked up the saxophone and played 3 years in the Centerville HS Marching Band (also called 'the Jazz Band'). I loved it because we worked hard and had fun playing some phenomenal jazz charts. Away from the football field I was involved in the pep band, jazz ensembles, wind ensembles, symphonic band, etc. The Baritone Sax and Jazz music in general became a huge part of my life. As I mentioned earlier, Tennis was my life every spring in school. I mainly played singles but played a season of doubles due to injury my junior year. The camaraderie I gained from my teammates was incredible and made us even more successful. I really had a great 4 years there.
Ok, so now we're up to the present. I'm now a freshman at Ohio University, majoring in aviation. I've been flying for about 5 years now. I stand above the rest at 6 feet 8 inches and have a passion for flying (yes, i CAN fit in a cockpit just fine, thanks). I'm a member of the Ohio University Marching 110, an addiction to which I devote my fall quarter on the football field. It's incredibly exciting and worthwhile, so if you're into working hard--very, very hard-- come on out and see for yourself who has the Most Exciting Band in the Land! The Ohio University Marching 110!
There you have it...the basis for knowing who I am. Now here's your chance see some of my favorite sites on the web that have ties to my life.

Just for your enjoyment, here are some great pictures of the US Air Force's Finest: the Thunderbirds F-16 Demonstration Squadron:
