At the grape room? Extremely small stage..in front of 20 friends and 20 coffee drinkers… rather funny first show in Athens.. but were playing Friday so they can witness the rock of FATBOAT.

Baker center front room. The show was our first on a real stage but we had to play without Alex due to a previous commitment with his family. The crowd was friendly with attendance around 60 including my brother, alex, and luke’s dad. Introducing our new song, Don’t Cry.

Baker center front room. Wow, what a good first show on a real stage with all of the members. We came on at 9, a bit early and rocked out for 26 minutes ish. We played in front of a friendly, and drunk crowd including out of towners such as Brendan Whaley, John Morton, and Robbie Ascue. Steff and Jeff, Darcy, and the usual girls from the convo were also scene.. oh. Adam Birkle was in attendance. Dan grabbed a bunch of pictures from the show and the after party in the boiler room. We had an even more impressive response from the crowd including a dude who insisted we get in the fetal position during luke’s drum solo in Nagasaki. Oh, can’t forget, we introduced our newer addition to the arsenal, Doctor.
Grapes room, Baker Center. 9:45
Short accoustic show between two terrible acts. actually the guy after us was pretty good. he had
a drum machine. Other then that. Richard was singing and playing his ol red, I was playing
guitar, and Luke was filling in for Big Al on Bass. The audience didn't seem to enjoy it, but man,
we had fun. Oh. and Lauren Dutton was there with significant other.
Get ready for friday. PREPARE THE CANNONS!
Baker Center, Front Room. We came on at 11:00 and rocked for nearly 35 minutes. Probably our most favorable show by many. Many people from out of town were once again there, and drunk. Guilty parties: Robbie Ascue, Tommy Hughes, Brenden Whaley, Margaret Pishonery (sp?), Beau, Pappy, Crazy Rob, Danny Deadly(full warpaint), Kevin Mitchell, and probably a few more. Anyway, best show to date. Good thing we got it on tape. The weekend ended up becoming a great ending to Winter quarter. We're looking foreward to future shows.
Blue Gator(upstairs) We went on around 10:15 and kicked it for about 30 minutes. Some initial mic problems but the sound system there was excellent. Special thanks to Break of Day for inviting us and Finding North for getting us future shows. Dan filled in as the new bassist which he learned in less than 24 hours. Sounds like he'll be playing with us until future notice. We added a new one. Misseries of childhood.
O'Hooley's. We played around 1 o'clock to a rockin crowd. Nate was there. He's pretty cool. Thanks to Clutch, Speakeasy, and Flinch. I was shocked to see our fans show up. Thanks again to Beau, John C., Joanna, Katie, Nicki, Nate, and friends from around town. Hope everyone and more and can make it Friday night! You guys rock.
