- The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA)
is the largest organization in the world committed to

- Seeks to provide 1) balanced information
concerning educational assessment and 2) resources to

Lecture Hall
- The World Lecture Hall (WLH) contains links to
pages created by faculty worldwide who are using the
Web to deliver class materials. For example, you will
find course syllabi, assignments, lecture notes,
exams, class calendars, multimedia textbooks, etc. You
can also add your own materials.

- Has a growing collection of educational resources
and services for Mathematics, Science, and Technology
educators. Houses articles, curriculum, newsletters,
projects, reports, and software.
- Teaching
and Learning on the Web
- From the Maricopa County Community College
District of Phoenix, AZ. A searchable collection of
almost 300 sites that use the Internet for teaching
and learning. Users can search over 35 subject
categories ranging from Anthropology to Writing.
- Library
of congress learning page
- Consists of collections of primary source and
archival material relating to American culture and
history. These historical collections are the Library
of Congress's key contribution to the National Digital
Library.
- Innovations
in Teaching
- From the University of Hull (UK). The site is the
second of their reviews of innovative teaching in the
University.
- EDUCOM
- Since 1964, Educom has been leading the
transformation of education through information
technology. Through direct services and cooperative
efforts, Educom offers leadership and assistance to
its member institutions in order to address the
critical issues surrounding the role of information
technology in higher education.

for Academic Technology (IAT)
- The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's
Institute for Academic Technology (IAT) is dedicated
to the proposition that information technology can be
a valuable tool for improving the quality of student
learning, increasing access to education, and
containing the costs of instruction. With generous
support from IBM, the IAT facilitates the widespread
use of effective and affordable technologies in higher
education.

- Something like a book, EDWEB is an experiment in

textbook, EdWeb is an interactive experience for the

connections to informational sources around the world.
Andy Carvin (the author and designer of EdWeb) is a
new media policy specialist at the Corporation for
Public Broadcasting in Washington, DC.

- Peterson's Education Center brings together, at
one central address, consistently organized
information about educational opportunities at all
levels, and gives individuals the ability to search
Peterson's databases as well as to request more
information, apply, and interact in other ways with
faculty and administrators at educational
institutions.

- A collaborative multimedia database containing a
variety of outstanding educational materials such as
images, sounds, text, and video to be used for
nonprofit, educational purposes. The goal of the
project is to share resources through technology by
