"My homebrewed 160 Meter SSB/CW transceiver. All solid state,
except for a pair of 6146's producing 100 watts RMS. The chassis was
a junked HW-16. Some of the circuits used came from the ARRL
Handbook. Others I customed designed. The CW and SSB filters were
built around 5mhz microprocessor crystals. I have 33 states on SSB
and 50 states confirmed on CW with this rig! Thanks to KL7Y for
Alaska! This project earned me 5 hours credit in IT 390!"(Thanks to
