Designed a corporate identity system. Chose a fictional word, researched and designed a fictious company. Experimented with different typefaces and color to come about an appropriate logo for stationary. Designed other applications including magazine ad, billboard, candy bar, and tablet.

Researched a typeface, finding its history, characteristics, and abstract qualities. Designed a four-page layout that projects these ideas. Involved communicating with printer to produce a small chapter book as well as a class book. Designed introduction, table of contents, title page, cover page, and bibliography for small chapter book.

Along with three other students research was done on four bar and grill locations in Athens, OH. Studied the relationship between the way food was eaten in each bar and designed a postcard that shows this relationship while portraying their image. Involved a four-color process printing, which was seen at printing press.

Currently working with promotional manager of Bacardi USA in Athens, OH. Research of Bacardi sales and how we can increase Bacardi sales into bars. Working on layout for poster designs that will be used for promotions each week. Also working on designing the outfit’s girls will be wearing.

Currently working for Student Travelers Shopps on design for poster that will promote traveling supplies issued by this company located in Cleveland, OH. Also working on logo design used on web site.

Held position as a busgirl and concession stand attendant. Responsible for opening and closing, accounting, food preparation, and customer service. Also held position as a certified lifeguard. Responsible for maintance of pool, teaching swim lessons, child recreation, opening and closing.

Worked as a waitress being responsible for opening and closing of restaurant. Also was certified as a two star employee being able to train the front of the house.
