There are so many wonderful resources on the Web for learning about herbs. The hard part is finding out which ones are more informational than commerical. Below is a list of links to the best herbal Web sites that I have found. I tried to find sites for this section that offer more information about herbs and their uses than sites that are selling herbs. I have listed Web sites that sell herbs on a separate page.

A Modern Herbal by Mrs. M. Grieve--Yes, this famous and wonderful resource is online. You can search for any herb or recipe you can possible think of. Information here includes common uses for the herb, preparation, and doses.

Algy's Herb Page--One of the best herb sites on the Web. Here you can find information about specific herbs, how to grow, harvest, and use herbs, and how to exchange seeds. Most impressive to me is their extensive list of wonderful recipes using herbs in the kitchen.

Herbal Dave's Notebook--There is a wealth of information here that lists diseases and herbs, which parts of the herbs to use, how much, and often often to use them. There is also a detailed analysis of popular supplements on this site.

American Botanical Council--An extensive herbal Web site created and maintained by the ABC, a non-profit, educational organization. Here you will find tons of herbal references and quick links to important herbal resuorces.

Juniper and Sage--An extensive Web site that has information on growing herbs and using them in cooking and healing. There is also information about using essential oils as aromatherapy and a newsletter.

Custom Herbals --Here you can create herbal formulas that are the way you want them. If you are tired of taking tons of different capsules every day, this might be your answer.

Henriette's Herbal Homepage--Wow! This is an amazing herb site. There are so many useful resources here for herbal uses, gathering herbs, recipes, etc. The search engine is wonderful.

Herbal Hall --This site is packed full of useful herbal information from using an cultivating herbs to buying herbs online. The search is very good and accurate.
